Amy Bradbury, Mosaic's founder, is on a mission to rescue bookkeeping from its reputation (oftentimes deserved) as a dull but necessary discipline. Amy was exposed to the accounting field early, when, as a teen, she got a job preparing tax returns for a CPA firm. As she swiftly worked her way up the corporate ladder, she realized that if she continued on her current path, she'd have to pass the CPA exam and use words ordinary people didn't understand. She'd have to tune the radio to easy listening stations and wear sensible shoes.

Fortunately for all of us, she found another way.

Amy realized that a huge gap existed between paint-by-number data entry bookkeepers and Fortune 500 CPA firms. Most bookkeeping firms focus only on the rote processes of accounting, offer a set menu of services (no substitutions, please), and fail to look at the larger business context. CPA firms have the know-how to counsel their clients on business development issues, but their high fees (not to mention their formidable vocabulary) put them out of the daily reach of most small business owners. Amy founded Mosaic Business Solutions to fill the gap. From there, Mosaic has evolved to offer additional services, including Administrative support, as Amy & her Mosaic team strive to assist their clients as completely as possible, under one roof.

Today at Mosaic, we stand (in our stylish shoes) behind our fearless leader, helping small businesses streamline their business processes, realize more profits, and achieve their visions. (Sometimes we even do it with rock 'n roll playing in the background.)
